| Peacefully situated in its own lovely garden and grounds, Murrayfield Bed & Breakfast offers quality non-smoking accommodation, cheerful friendly service and a real commitment to providing our visitors with a stay to remember.
Our rooms are exceptionally spacious and comfortable and all afford stunning views of rolling countryside and distant hills.
We have lots of red squirrels. They feed on a table directly outside the dining room window and are usually around to delight our guests with their antics.
Breakfasts are generous and cooked to order. The traditional full "Scottish" is of course available but there are lots of other choices and vegetarians can readily be catered for. We only ever use local free range eggs. We only ever use local free range eggs.
Both rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated, centrally heated and have comfortable sofas and lots of space to relax. We have tried to provide whatever might best enhance our visitor's comfort and the rooms are well equipped with colour TV, video, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and even a mini fridge!.
The double / twin room is a large room with one double and one single bed + a very spacious en-suite bath/shower room.
The family room is very large with windows on three sides. It has a king size bed and a single bed and where it is required we can move in extra single beds. There is a spacious private shower room immediately opposite.
We are perfectly located for an overnight stop and also as a base from which to explore our very beautiful and undiscovered south west Scotland.
