| We cordially invite you to stay at our delightful 17th Century house, situated adjacent to The Rype (The Green) in the town of Lydd, Romney Marsh, Kent. Our property has recently been renovated to a high standard, incorporating 3 en-suite bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. All the original features have been retained. These include inglenook fireplace, oak beams and a wide Georgian staircase to the first floor and galleried landing.
We aim to provide modern comforts without compromising the 17th Century ambience.
Our unusual garden, which surrounds three sides of our home, is available to guests for their use.
Off road parking is guaranteed on a newly developed hard standing in front of the garage.
Coxell House is a non-smoking area. Pets may be accommodated by prior arrangement, subject to a small nominal charge. Well behaved children are very welcome and a ready-made play area is close by on The Rype.
There are plenty of things to do around the picuresque area of Lydd, for example, National Trust properties, RSPB Reserve, Rare Breeds Centre, Tenterden Steam Railway, Historic Rye, Howletts and Port Lympne zoos and the City of Canterbury. For more energetic folk there is a golf club in Lydd, as well as a cycle track and water sports centre.
