| Amie is a small guest house set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Carbis Bay, St Ives offering first class accommodation in a quiet homely atmosphere. We are out of the hustle and bustle of St Ives town centre, yet only a short walk from the beautiful coastline, Carbis Bay beach, local shops and main bus routes.
Amie is a modern semi-detatched bungalow tastefully furnished and decorated throughout. The accommodation offers a selection of en-suite twin and double rooms, includinga king-size four-poster bedroom with full en-suite facilities. All rooms have a colour TV and refreshment tray. There is a comfortable lounge with television. Amie has full central heating: we also have a no smoking policy. A generous full English breakfast is served in the cosy dining room: alternatives are available on request.
St Ives is only a short distance away. It is a quaint seaside town offering a choice of restaurants, shops and four beautiful beaches. Artists and art have made the area famous, of course. There are numerous galleries throughout the town. However, the Tate St Ives must take pride of place. The Gallery hosts many exhibitions of art, most with connections to the area, either by inclusion of local painters, sculpters and potters or through choice of theme. The views from the Gallery alone are worth the entrance fee!
